Dakota Lodge is a lovely aviation themed hotel at Rand Airport.

It offers runway, ramp or hangar view from all its rooms.

Every morning, the lodge serves a great full breakfast.

Optional Flights

1985 Gulfstream II B ZS-DJA with original RR Spey engine.

Lanseria - Durban - Lanseria (1 hour each leg)

The cost is $600 each way (travel back with an airline flight) or $1,200 roundtrip.  I strongly encourage you to consider a flight as it is rare to find a G II elsewhere now (becoming classic)

We will only go ahead with this optional flight if we can fill up the plane as the price is based on full occupancy.

  1. Hi Sam, I am very interested in joining your tour to South Africa. May I ask you to reserve a space for me for the next few days. I have to rearrange some meetings in May, and if I succeed in doing so, I will book my space next week definitely. Great itinerary.
    Best regards from Switzerland
    Andreas
