I will be leading a small group tour to attend the Wonsan Air Festival in North Korea in September 23-25, 2017 with excellent access of photography and flying vintage Soviet aircraft as well as explore into a country like no other!
I have been on the DPRK Aviation Tour three times in 2012, 2014 and 2016. Overtime, I have developed a keen interest on North Korea topics and formed excellent relationship with tour organizer and participants.
Wonsan Air Festival is the first event of its kind to be held in the DPRK. Participants will have the chance to enjoy two days full of civil and military aviation ranging from static and air displays of KPA Air Force and Air Koryo aircraft to optional 30-minute pleasure flights on classic aircraft. The aviation part will be complemented by traditional dance shows and other non-aviation programme.
