Boeing has delivered their first Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) MAX during the National Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition.

The BBJ MAX 8 was handed over with an empty/unfinished interior to be flown to a specialized interior finishing center, where the customer desired cabin and custom features will be installed without disrupting the Boeing production line.

With 20 BBJ MAX orders currently logged in the order book, Boeing is excited to deliver the first and has reflected on this milestone in the following statement from their head of Boeing Business Jets, Greg Laxton:

“We are excited to begin delivering a longer-range and more capable version of the world’s most popular business jetliner. There has been great market interest and anticipation for the BBJ MAX and our valued customers will soon be able to see the new standard in business travel.”

In addition, to celebrate the first deliver, Boeing Business Jets unveiled a new interior concept called Genesis and is designed by SkyStyle – an award winning aviation design firm.

Boeing states the BBJ MAX Genesis concept draws inspiration from nature’s tranquility, its voluminous clouds hanging over a white sand beach, smooth rolling hills and a starry night sky, as seen in the image below.
