I’ve compiled a list of airport hotels offer some of the most amazing views directly from the comfort and privacy of your room, some views are so great from your bed! All of the pictures are real, taken during my stay.

For over 16 years I have been staying at the Renassiance London Heathrow hotel whenever I pass Heathrow. There’s no hotel can match the view and proxmity to the runway than the Renassiance. The hotel recently completed a much needed refurbishment.
Amsterdam
CitizenM hotel at Schiphol Airport is a cool place. The room is small but cozy and adequate. The coolest thing is sleep on the bed with an amazing apron view! The curtain can be hindering photography though.
Singapore
Crowne Plaza Changi is the only hotel on site at Singapore Changi Airport. It has an amazing view of Terminal 3 gate and runway 02C/20C. You can take photo from the room or in the open corridor without glass!
Seoul Incheon
Hotel Ora is a new hotel on the South side of Incheon International Airport. It commands an amazing view overlooking the South runway. This hotel is highly recommended and very reasonably priced. The room is very large with a queen size plus a single bed. The bathroom is super oversized with separate bath tub and shower. There is free hotel shuttle to/from Incheon Airport.
Bangkok
Grand Inn Come Hotel is located on the West side of Survanabhumi International Airport. The rooms on 6th floor offer great view of runway 01L/19R. You can access to roof top and a 200-400mm lens is good for all the traffic.
Mumbai/Bombay
Hotel Taj at SantaCruz Mumbai Airport is one of most luxury airport hotel I’ve stayed. The rooms overlook the runway and Terminal 1 (domestic apron). I ordered room service and enjoyed the privacy of in-room dining with a view!
Dubai
JW Marriott Hotel at Deira has a great swimming pool and patio on rooftop. You can take photo easily of landing/takeoff photo depends on runway direction. I tried out this hotel location and believe this is better than the Nojoum Apartment or Grand Excelsior (ex Sheraton Deira). Please exercise caution in taking photo as it is not well recognized as a hobby in UAE.

The Hilton Hotel at Heathrow Terminal 5 is on the flight path, and some of the rooms have spectacular views of approaching aircraft which fly right overhead. Fortunately the hotel has excellent soundproofing.
The Air China Hotel at Shanghai Hongqiao has great views of the tarmac and across to the runways. Need a room on the top floor, executive club.

MIA – Miami International, has a small hotel too located in concourse E, has been remodeled recently !
Sam! Try to stay at Jakarta Airport Hotel in Terminal 2E, Soekarno Hatta International Airport (CGK). The airport is inside the airport but outside of the immigration. It has an amazing apron and runway view! The hotel is little bit outdated, but it is comfortable!

What about Holiday Inn Express (former Eaton Smart) at DEL?
Crowne Plaza at Changi: ask for the rooms 906 to 912. I like 908 as it is next to the open air part. I watch the plane from the comfort of the room and run outside to shoot the photo.
