Thai Airways have listed 34 used passenger aircraft for sale on this website.
The aircraft for sale include: A300-600, B737-400, B747-400, A340-500, A340-600, B777-200 and B777-300.

The list included THAI’s entire B747-400 fleet. Although there is no official confirmation, this is an indication that THAI will retire all their B747-400 fleet.

THAI is also selling their entire B777-200 and B777-300 non extended range fleet (original A model).

We knew that THAI had retired and parked their A340 fleet for sometime, in Don Muang and Utapao Airport; they are still trying to find buyers for these planes.

For anyone who is interested in purchasing these aircraft, you can email here.

Has Thai retired their B747-400 fleet?
if any for 737.800 or A 321 and 310.300
I’ll take 2: one 747-400 & one A340-500 !
Will that be cash or card?
First class service onboard and on the ground are just too costly without any decent revenue for TG. The pax flying are most Gold and Platinum members with their complimentary upgrades. It does not generate decent yields for years now.
TG shoud concentrate in improving a better Bus. Class ike QR. A great suite with First Class service onboard and on the ground. Eco class is already good. Just maintain the great seat pitch and service and perhaps reintroduce Prem Eco with a better seat like EK is planning and a Bus. Class service/amenities.
That is the strategy TG needs to focus on.
