Gulf Air Introduces “Choose Your Cuisine” For Premium Passengers

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, unveils its ”Choose Your Cuisine” service for Falcon Gold business class passengers on long-haul flights.

Passengers can now choose their preferred meals from a special curated menu, viewable in advance, through the Gulf Air website and mobile application.

This new service offers passengers greater flexibility and personalization, allowing them to – choose their preferred meal in advance of their flight anytime from six months to 24 hours before departure. The inflight standard menu will also remain available for passengers who prefer to make their choice on board the flight.

The ”Choose Your Cuisine” menu features 10 dishes, including breakfast and main course options, all crafted by Gulf Air's culinary team.

This service is initially available on flights departing from Bahrain on long-haul destinations to London, Manchester, Frankfurt, Munich, Paris, Casablanca, Málaga (seasonal), Rome, Milan, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Bangkok, Manila and Singapore.

1. Pan-Seared Smoked Salmon

Pan fried grilled fillet of smoked salmon to perfection served with dill coconut cream sauce, accompanied by buttered broccoli, carrots and beans

Homemade pie based topped with juicy lamb and potato enhanced the flavour with fresh mint, served with a crispy garden salad and rich pan jus

3. Chicken Satay with Nasi Goreng

Oriental style succulent grilled chicken satay served with southeast Asian fried rice, accompanied by homemade peanut dipping sauce, fried prawn crackers, and sliced cucumber with tomato

Experience the rich Flavors of Bahraini slow cooked rice dish, flavoured with authentic Arabic spices and marinated prawns, accompanied by home made green spicy daqoos sauce, sumac flavoured onion and coriander salad, and fried onions with cashew nut

5. Pad Thai with Tom Yum Prawns

Thai stir fry noodles with a sweet, Savory, and tangy sauce scattered crushed peanuts, served with basil and garlic infused sauteed prawns, garnished with crunchy beans sprouts and scallions

6. Chicken Biryani

Authentic spiced layers of fragrant basmati rice, chicken and gravy combine with fresh herbs and biryani masala, served with refreshing cucumber and cumin raita, garnished with fried onions and cashew nut
