The Boeing 747SR and 747-400D were specially developed for Japan’s domestic market. Instead of flying 10 or 12 hours across oceans, these aircraft often operated sectors of only 1 to 2 hours while carrying more than 500 passengers. Here are my experiences flying these special 747s!
