Emirates unveils brand new cabins for its Boeing 777 fleet
Dubai, UAE, 12 Nov 2017 – Emirates has unveiled completely refreshed interiors for its Boeing 777 aircraft, including its highly anticipated new First Class private suites.
With floor to ceiling sliding doors and sleek design features inspired by the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Emirates’ new suites takes luxury and privacy to the next level. Offering up to 40 square feet of personal space each, these spacious, fully-enclosed private suites are laid out in a 1-1-1 configuration.
This will be a Photo Report on the New Emirates B777 First Class Suites. Here are the real photos and video of this amazing First Class product.

The new Emirates 777 First Class cabin interior uses a whole new colour palette of soft greys, cream and champagne, conveying a contemporary, open and airy feel, with quiet and timeless luxury.
Created in collaboration with Boeing, Rockwell Collins interior systems, Panasonic, Jacques Pierre Jean Design studio and Seattle-based design firm Teague, each fully enclosed private suite has a floor to ceiling sliding door, and combines smart technologies and intelligent design to deliver function, as well as luxury and comfort.

The soft leather seat reclines into a fully flat bed and can be placed in a “zero-gravity” position inspired by NASA technology, giving a feeling of relaxation and weightlessness. The roomy suites also have ample space for passengers to change in the privacy of their suites even after the bed has been made.

Virtual Windows
To ensure all First Class customers have a view, Emirates is introducing the industry’s first virtual windows for suites located in the middle aisle. These virtual windows project the view from outside the aircraft using real time camera technology. Interesting to add that the Middle Suite have been sold out faster on the first few flights from December 1st!

Video Call Button
Passengers can easily communicate with the cabin crew, or request for room service using the video call function.
My impression
I was amazed by this new First Class Product of Emirates. It took us by quite surprise as no other airlines has offered a full enclosed Suite. I felt the real product more like a hotel room flying at 35,000 feet rather than an airplane seat! The Suite are significantly bigger than the current ones. I like the interior furnishing with new colour palette of soft greys, cream and champagne. I think this has to be the BEST First Class on any Boeing 777 out there! No doubt I am very tempted to fly on it soon!
The latest Emirates 777 aircraft with these new features will enter commercial service on 1 December, making its debut on flights to Geneva and Brussels.
What do you think of the New Emirates First Class Suites? Do you think is Game Changing?

It looks great but the rollout is pretty slow I think. I seem to remember only something like 9 planes with the new layout by the next of 2019?! I think it’s because they aren’t actually converting any planes, only specifying it for newly delivered 777s. I think the Stansted route is getting one of the F layouts isn’t it?
I’ve done both A380 and 777 on the current gold bling design. Of the current offerings I definitely prefer the A380. This new upgraded cabin looks great but even so I’m torn. If it was just down to the seat then no contest, the new 777 layout wins, but I really like having the bar on the A380 so for me it’s a tough choice and I think I’d still go for the A380. Now, if they started converting any of the A380 first class cabins to this new layout that would be perfect.
hi sam
love your videos! great. Do you have any ideas if emirates will be upgrading the first class cabins on the A380?
They haven’t announce it yet.
hi sam, will you be trying out the product on the first flight
Hi Sam,
Do you have any idea when they will start the service to DXB-ORD with the new suites?
Emirates have not announced the routes on new F class other than Geneva and Brussels.
Hi Sam,
Can you review the new Emirates business class on their B777? Thank you
Hi Sam, I love all your videos and you travels around the vast world. I suggest you ride Philippine Airlines on there new A330 tri-class seats.
Thank you Kyle for the suggestion!
Hi Sam,.
Thanks for the review. Nice to know and enjoyed reading it. Wow,.a Mercedez Benz inspired? Very Luxury in the sky. I like the seat very much simply because it is very wide and when convert to flat bed mode it is even wider. High end passengers will love this so called First class Suite in Boeing 777.
Hi Sam,
So it looks like your one of only a few who have been up close and personnel with both the new SQ A380 and Emirates 777 suites.
I would be keen to hear which is the best in your opinion.
Thanks Ken, hopefully I get to try out the real product soon!
Impressive first look at Emirates’ new B777 First Class suites. Glad they got rid of the garish Las Vegas-casino gold bling look.
Sam — The middle/center aisle suites supposedly offer “virtual windows” since there are no outside windows, have you seen them? Although I’ve heard them discussed/proposed for future jets, virtual windows would be a first on a commercial airliner.
Hi Luke
Yes, I will cover the virtual window bit today. Will have a demo. The Virtual window should have outside window view just like a window suite seat.
Hi Sam,
Thank you for the preview of Emirates new First Class offering. I’m glad they’ve toned down the garish gold plating and polished timber look. I think they will attract a new clientele to their brand with this new look.
