Oman Air has taken delivery of its first Boeing 787-9, registration A4O-SF, with a brand new tri-class interior including new First Class Suite.
The Middle Eastern carrier already has four 787-8s and three 787-9s in service, all configured with Business and Economy Class.
Oman Air's new 787-9 is fitted with 8 First Class suites, as well as 24 seats in Business and 232 in Economy. The jet's first regular passenger flight will be from Muscat to London Heathrow on 1 July on Flight WY101/102.

Two more 787-9s are scheduled for delivery to the airline by year-end.
The airline says that the suites in the newly delivered Dreamliner's First Class section have "one of the longest 180-degree flat-bed seats available on any commercial airliner" and that the aircraft will offer "the latest in comfort and amenities, including cutting-edge entertainment".
Passenger seats in all three classes are equipped with Thales in-flight entertainment systems featuring an "immersive cinematic interface design" and content "exclusively curated" for visitors to Oman, the airline says.
The service revamp also include new dining table wares feature Oman's unique landscape by Narumi.
CEO Eng. Abdulaziz Al Raisi states: "The 787-9 will further enhance Oman Air's network with its incredible range and capacity." He adds that investment in new aircraft is part of the carrier's "Vision 2030" strategy.
The new B787-9 have 24 direct aisle access, forward facing APEX Business Class Suite seats across 2 cabins. The forward cabin have 12 seats and second cabin also with 12 seats.
232 turquoise coloured Economy Class seats across 2 cabins made up for the rest of the Oman Air New B787-9.
I traveled to Seattle as a guest of Oman Air and witnessed the delivery ceremony held at Boeing Everett Delivery Center on 27 June, 2018.
After the ceremony, the ferry flight took place from Paine Field nonstop to Muscat, which took 15.5 hours.The new Oman Air tri-class B787-9 will enter service between Muscat and London Heathrow from 01 July on flight WY101/102.
