We’ve written about how great the American Express® Gold Card and The Platinum Card from American Express are. They don’t only allow you to earn Membership Rewards points, which can be transferred to a handful of airlines, but they also allow you get access to Amex Offers.
Amex is consistently running offers, and you get targeted for new offers based on your spending habits, among other factors. Right now I have 100 different offers available on both my Platinum Card® and my American Express® Gold Card, and 62 offers available for my Bonvoy Business Amex Card. With so many offers available, you should be able to find at least one offer that is useful to you.
While American Express is consistently running offers for hotels and cruises, it infrequently runs offers for airlines; which makes today’s deal especially interesting.
Delta Air Lines Amex Offer
This deal is different from what we are used to seeing, as this one has some pretty strict stipulations. You must enrol in the offer in order to redeem and not everyone will be targeted for this offer; some offers may be different from mine. The offer is valid for flights booked by 9/5/2019, not flown by then, so you have a decent amount of time to use it. Regardless of the restrictions, the deal is fantastic, as you can get up to $40 USD off which is a maximum of 20% back on a $200 USD fare.
Details state that the discount is only valid for the base fare and not any taxes & fees, and that you must depart from ANY airport in the United States for flights to Boston (BOS), Raleigh-Durham (RDU), or Seattle (SEA). The flight also has to be round trip. You can see the full terms and conditions below.
*Update* Per a readers report, your offer may be for a flight originating from one of those destinations, instead of to Boston (BOS), Raleigh-Durham (RDU), or Seattle (SEA)
How to Find Your Amex Offers
In order to see your Amex Offers, you will need to sign in and go to the bottom of the account summary page of any American Express card you have. You will see a screen which looks like this:
If you click the view all button you will be able to filter down to categories that may be more relevant to you, instead of viewing all available offers
Deals like this seem to come around pretty often, but only if you have a card from American Express. If you haven’t signed up for an American Express credit card yet, what are you waiting for?
