Flight data shows the aircraft was operating from Millington-Memphis, carrying auto parts. Emergency services attending the scene reported the entire aircraft was engulfed in flames, before extinguishing efforts could be launched.

All roads surrounding the crash location have been temporally closed to allow the scene to be assessed. At this time, it is unknown if any of the two crew members survived.

Airport authorities say no distress call was made to air traffic control and everything appeared standard on the radio, prior to the accident.

More information will be added once available.

  1. First of all condolences to the families of the the pilots who lost their lives in the accident.
Through this article, the incident plane was registered in 1957(so its really old..). my theories on this incident is that, there are multiple reasons that could have led to the crash:
    1. Poorly timed takeoff(Before v1 speed, resulted in stall, inexperienced pilots)
    2. Structural Failure
    3. Cargo Imbalance(similar to October 27,1975 crash of the same type of aircraft(TAM-44), February 5,1996(N131T))
    4. Engine Failure(April 20, 1985 crash (CP-1489),February 20,1993 (HP-1200CTH),May 22,1995(CP-2142))
    5. In-Flight Fire(Highly doubt it)(July 12, 2004( (N4826C))
    6.Weather Conditions
