Brussels as an Alternative Gateway To Europe – With Award Redemption
Here are the required miles to redeem one way between Singapore to Europe:
| Economy | Premium Economy | Business Class |
| 38k miles | 64.5k miles | 92k miles |
If you follow Singapore Airlines Spontaneous Escape frequently, you will have noticed that Singapore-Dusseldorf has frequently appeared on the list of discounted redemption routes. Although this is speculative, I think Brussels will also need to be on redemption discounts for a decently long period of time before it becomes very profitable.
Here are the discounted miles (30% off) should it appear on the monthly Singapore Airlines Spontaneous Escape.
| Economy | Premium Economy | Business Class |
| 26.6k miles | 53.2k miles | 64.4k miles |
With an early arrival into Brussels, there are many connection options available to other European destinations.
Are you exciting about this new route? Tells us in the comment section below.

Sadly the extortionate cost of train fares between London and Brussels will still not make it viable for UK residents to book their flight from Brussels to avoid the pernicious “Air Passenger Duty.”
