Aeroflot Russian Airlines has taken delivery of their first A350-900, becoming the launch operator of the latest generation of widebody aircraft in Eastern Europe and CIS.
Aeroflot’s A350-900 features a distinctive new livery, embracing its almost 100 year heritage. I attended the delivery ceremony today. Let's check out their brand new A350.
Flight attendants dressed up in retro Aeroflot uniforms, dating back to the 1960s, during a unique ceremony with ballet dancing. The plane is named after famous Russian composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky.
Business Class Suite
Aeroflot’s A350-900 features a brand new and elegant cabin design. The aircraft has a spacious three-class cabin layout with 316 seats.
28 private Business Class suites with full-flat seats. All the seats have full enclosures, similar to Delta One or Qatar Airways QSuite on the A350.
Taking a deeper look, Aeroflot Business Class Suite is not exactly Qatar Airways QSuite as there are backward facing seats on QSuite. On Aeroflot all the suite are facing forward.
There are mini-bar inside storage, a very large 32" IFE, a shoe box and closet in every suite.

In my views, this is definitely a huge step up from the current Business Class offering at Aeroflot. We have seen many airlines especially the one without First Class are pushing boundary with their latest Business Class. Obviously, a brand new A350 delivery should come with the best product.
Comfort Class (Premium Economy)
There are 28 Premium Economy seats in a 2-4-2 configuration.
