Depending on the routing, the airline and aircraft type, you might get different seat products as compared to others. These are the types of Business Class that you will be getting on mid to long haul flights.
Where Should I Credit This Ticket?
Check out wheretocredit. These tickets should book into fare code I, for some great earnings on Alaska Airlines and British Airways. For example, a return Business Class flight in fare code I between London and New York would be 17,214 Alaska miles.

I’m a avid fan of yours for 3 years. I started taking business class with EVA and now with Asiana. every years me and my wife goes back to Manila, Philippines to visit friends and families. I need help on how to use my Amex Platinum points 350K to book Emirate Airline SFO to DBX first class for our 37th Wedding Anniversary 3/20, if this not possible maybe within this year or upcoming year. I would like to surprise my wife. She deserve it because she is the foundation of our family. She has approach her retirement age as I am. She should be rewarded on her effort as a mother, wife and my best friend. She keeps our family together specially I am deployed oversea as a military soldiers, combat and non-combat areas of responsibility. What shall I do ?
Should I wait another year and earns more point, how much do I need to accumulate before taking this plunge on Emirate, as I saw how nice is First class. This will be a one chance I will never missed for my devoted wife.

You can explore the following options:
– Amex to Emirates transfer
– Marriot Bonvey to Japan airlines (5000 bonus miles for every 60k points transfer)
– Citibank to Qantas.
Please check out redemption rates on these programs.
As a general advise, my personal take is that there’s better use of Amex points than redeeming Emirates First Class. Explore other flying options as well. Of course, if you are dying to try Emirates and very ready to burn tons of points,why not?
Also, dont think just because u have Amex u should only adopt Amex to Emirates transfer. Please look at the other two options that I suggested as well
