  1. Forgot to say i think their new Premium Economy Product has got to be class leading now! I think it
looks superb!!!! Well done Emirates you have gained my business from BA next i travel as their one
is no way as good!! also they will beusing A380’s still, HOORAY!!! for long haul!

lastly to the guy below ,flying out of the UK at the moment is illegal unless you have a VERY good reason for it! Looks like July for the UK to start travelling outbound other than usual holiday routes!
that may also change if variants of covid get worse?? 5K fine i read for travel with no good reason from UK!

  2. Bit off subject though Emirates last A380 flew this last week for the first time! Its the rarer ones with
the RR engines instead of the GP7000 that the rest of their fleet have as engine option!

Its great that atleast Emirates will be operating these beasts for some time yet into the future and i think
it will pay off with dividends once travel resumes! I am sure Lufthansa and other airlines that have them in storage will bring them back! Even BA may buy up older ones if their new routes become more popular? BA i think could be the first Airlines to buy 2nd hand ones actually! i can ses it as they now have no B747’s!They could get brillant deals for these 2nd hand A380;s that are hardly old!

lastly great news!! Rolls-Royce confirmed today that it has started to build the demonstrator engine for its upcoming ‘UltraFan’ family. This will be the world’s largest aircraft engine, with the fan measuring 140 inches (3.5 m) wide. Imagine 4 of them on An A380? Well that will never happen
now unless they change their mind on double deckers in the next 20yrs! The next A350 neo or 1100 will be the plane i assume that will use this engine first! Even bigger looking than as GE 9X !!

  3. Are you planning on being this flight Sam?

All this talk about vaccinated passengers is really a mute point here in Japan. Nobody has been vaccinated at all yet apart from a handful of doctors and nurses. They won’t start vaccinating the ordinary people from August at the earliest! So slow, particularly as it looks like the Olympics will in fact go ahead.
