Qatar Airways will launch their new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner passenger aircraft, featuring the eagerly awaited new Business Class Suite, on a number of key routes to Europe and Asia, starting with their Doha to Milan service on Friday 25th June 2021.

The ultramodern aircraft is scheduled for services from Doha to Athens, Barcelona, Dammam, Karachi, Kuala Lumpur, Madrid and Milan and has a total passenger capacity of 311 seats – 30 Business Class Suites and 281 seats in Economy Class.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al-Baker, said: “In-line with our commitment to offering our passengers an unparalleled travel experience, we are pleased to introduce this much-anticipated Business Class Suite on Qatar Airways’ newest wide-body aircraft the Boeing 787-9; which will debut onto a number of key routes within our network”.

Arranged in a herringbone pattern, a 1-2-1 configuration, each suite has direct aisle access with a sliding door to ensure the ultimate in privacy and comfort. The Business Class Suite transforms into a 79” fully-flat bed, offering elevated levels of comfort on board. Passengers can store their personal mobile in a dedicated phone holder, equipped with a wireless charging technology that is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

In Economy Class, the Recaro-produced seats exemplify the latest design and technology. Each seat is equipped with a 13-inch Panasonic IFE touch screen, in addition to a personal electronic device holder for both mobile and iPad devices. The seat features a rotatable armrest that can be completely stowed away to the backrest, providing a more comfortable and spacious experience.
The Boeing 787-9 is the latest member of the Boeing aircraft in Qatar Airways’ fleet. As the Middle East launch customer for the Boeing 787, the airline has continued to fly their fleet of 30 787-8s throughout the COVID-19 pandemic; due to its strong fuel efficiency and excellent reliability record.

I can’t see much improvement on the previous seat. I used Qatar Airways on many previous occasions. One thing I was very disappointed was how bad ground service has become. From below the par lounges around the world to poor lounge service at Doha. Every time when one connects at Doha there is almost no chance having shower in between flights as only few are available at anytime of the day. My last flight had over 3 hours lay over in Doha and there was queue of 26 people waiting to have a shower.
Very nice airline they really treat their passengers the best i would fly them
