While Business Class fares from US and Canada to Europe are generally expensive due to several factors such as fuel surcharges, I am currently seeing some great deals from several airlines.
Air Canada, Air France, British Airways, and a few other airlines are offering great Business Class fares originating from select US and Canadian cities.
Air France/KLM Transatlantic Deals

Next, Star Alliance carriers from select Canadian cities are also offering great Business Class fares to Europe. Generally, fares from Canada are relatively high so this is an opportunity for you to book one at much-reduced rates.

The deals from US West Coast to Geneva are available in July and August so it is best to book if you have a confirmed plan as seats are limited due to high demand.

Earning Miles From Each Airline
With each respective Business Class fare class, you will be eligible to earn between 50% to 250% of the miles flown (Based on base tier) of each frequent flyer program. The booking fare class are as below:
- British Airways (I,J)
- Lufthansa (P)
- Air France – KLM (Z)
- Air Canada (P) – Booked under Lufthansa ticket number
- United (P)
- Iberia (D) – Booked under American Airlines ticket number
Keep in mind that with the exception of Air France – KLM fares, the rest of the fares are deeply discounted Business Class fares hence you will earn a lesser amount of miles on your frequent flyer programs.
