Join me on a special charter flight flying from Australia to the UK, where your pets sit next to you!
Before this, there were no options but to fly your pets in the cargo hold on long-haul flights to/from Australia. However, now you can bring your pet into the cabin on a charter flight. Our chartered flight is operated by Skytraders A319 from Melbourne, Australia. Onboard, many seats were removed to make room for crates, where pets are required to go during takeoff and landing.
After takeoff, the owner can let the pet out to be next to them. There is even a dedicated toilet area for pets in the rear of the plane. It’s an absolute joy to watch these fur babies relaxing on the flight next to their owner. Lunch was served on the way.
Due to the strong headwind, we have to make a refueling stop in Broome, Western Australia, before reaching Singapore. The scenery in and out of Broome was amazing. We remained onboard in Broome for just 40 minutes before heading off to Singapore. It was an unusual but great flight with all the fur babies, and I wish them luck in their onward travels.
