I took the Chinese High Speed Train from Beijing West Station to Daxing Airport in just 28 minutes with top speed over 200km/h. At Daxing, the first International flight to arrive was British Airways BA39 from London on 27 October 2019. I met up with Cristiano Ceccato, from Zaha Hadid architecture firm which designed Daxing Airport arrived on this flight. Cristiano provided an in-depth discussion and introduction about the architecture and design philosophy of Daxing Airport.
