Japan Airlines A350-1000 Business Class – The Middle Suite ⚠️

Join me flying Japan Airlines (JAL) flagship A350-1000 from Tokyo to LA. Does their new Business Class suite resemble the future way of flying?

Starting my trip at Tokyo Haneda International Terminal. I visited the JAL First Class lounge before the flight. The large lounge spanned across two floors and had a great collection of JAL’s history, including historic photos and models. There is an excellent view of the tarmac from the lounge. A variety of food and beverages, including sushi and curry rice, are served on demand.

JAL’s A350-1000 has just 239 seats, offering four classes of seating. 6 First Class Suites, 54 Business Class Suites, 24 Premium Economy seats and 155 Economy class seats. I took a quick tour of the plane during boarding and was given a proper introduction of JAL’s new Business Class suite. My seat was in the middle, 14G.

After takeoff, I tried out the wireless headset with live TV and entertainment. The service started a bit slowly and took more than 3 hours to finish the dinner service. You can order food and drinks straight from the TV screen. The bed was long but a tad narrow for me. I didn’t sleep too well, and loud Hindi music playing across the cabin woke me up long before landing.

3 things I love about JAL A350-1000:

✅A lot of Cool Tech

✅ Excellent Privacy

✅ Bed is long

3 things JAL can do better:

🔴 More IFE choices

🔴 Faster service

🔴 PJs in Business Class

After landing, I headed to the APEX (Airline Passenger Experience Association) global expo in Long Beach, CA. I shared my vision of enhancing the passenger experience through a 10-point journey and presented some prestigious awards.
