I am back to flight training to pursue my Private Pilot License (PPL).
So far only 7% of all the pilots are female. But the number of female aviators is rising across the flight school. I flew with 4 female pilots; Jibby, Juri, Tiara, and Leslie at Sling Pilot Academy. Each of them has an amazing story to share about their journey in aviation especially becoming a woman pilot, more so as a woman of colour and different background. They all made it with a lot of dedication and hard work.
At the end of the video, pilot students Jennifer and Erin shared with me what makes them join flight training to become pilots. They share their tips on how to progress in flight training and strongly encourage other women to try out.
