The Airbus A380 is the largest passenger and most expensive airliner in the world. Last week, Airbus announced it will end production of the A380 in 2021.
How the once promising Airbus superjumbo went from airline status symbol to reject in just 10 years? Let’s take a look at the rise and fall of the A380 in this special documentary video.
Another great video by you Sam.
My girlfriend and I love the A380 June 5th we’ll again be in one from Amsterdam to Dubai. We think it’s one of the most beautiful planes it’s sad that production has too stop. But we’ll make sure we’ll be flying on them as much as possible before it’s gone. Hoping it’ll stay around for many many years to come.
Hello Sam Chui!
This is my 1st comment to you. Its nice watching you travel & enjoy your passion.
My & my wife travelled just once in 2012 when we travelled EK A380, from Toronto to Dubai & retuned. The take off & flight was smooth – felt like as though we were just lifted up & gliding. But, landing both at Dubai & Toronto was bumpy – felt the whole plane vibrate.
Looks like the A380 may be a white elephant in 20 years time!
