In Changi, as Suite passenger are invited to use the much hyped Private Room. I was there twice before as First Class passenger also entitled to use it. One has to past three lounge attendant to be finally let in J (The main door, the First Class lounge door and the Private Room post)

While SQ tries to portrait Private Room being the ultimate First Class lounge, it certainly is very comfortable and not too crowded. However I found some room to be improved, especially there is no rest area (a recliner or a bed).

There is a small buffet set up apart from the a la carte offering which resembles restaurant fine dining. Overall I found the food a bit blend. I prefer more varieties offered in the buffet SilverKris and First Class lounge.

After a refreshing shower, it is time to head to the gate for boarding SQ12 to Tokyo Narita. SQ12 continue to Los Angeles from Narita.

Overall, it is an very good lounge with luxury finish and excellent waiter service from the restaurant. It has all the quality a First Class lounge required.

The lounge gives an exclusive feel and it was never very crowded out of my numerous visit. However the lounge lack of personality and warmth. I suggest they could add a private rest area for passengers who have longer transit.
