Mumbai Airport GVK Premium Lounge

Here are a few pictures of the impressive new Mumbai CSIA Terminal 2 (International terminal)

I was flying on Etihad Airways flight to Abu Dhabi.

First/Business/Elite frequent flyer have separate check-in area. (different row)

Etihad use GVK Lounge which is new and impressive. It has a luxury and premium feel that other lounge is no match in the region. I was flying in Economy Class (got an upgrade later due to oversell) but thanks to the Gold Etihad Guest status, I have access to the lounge.

Excellent privacy and lot of seating area with nice wall decoration.

There is a dedicated bar area in the middle of the lounge. Drinks are served there (not self serve)

A full dining area with 24 hours buffet. It is separated into Veg and non Veg section.

For most business class boarding pass holder, you’re entitle to free 15 minutes spa treatment (a choice between Foot and Back massage) The spa is located in this area in the picture below:

Oh, and don’t forget the impressive ceiling to floor glass with excellent ramp and gate view. I was there at night but I would imagine photo is possible during daylight through the glass there. Overall, this is an extremely impressive lounge from India. It rivals 5 star standard of any Business/First lounge!
