GUY MARTIN, the renowned chef of Le GRAND VÉFOUR design new menu for Air France Business Class
In order to surprise its passengers while confirming its role of ambassador of fine French cuisine, Air France is entrusting its Business menu to Guy Martin, honoured two Michelin stars, for the next three months. On departure from Paris, on board long-haul flights and certain medium-haul flights, the chef invites customers to discover or rediscover a selection of 6 main dishes, inspired by global flavours and renewed every two weeks.
Here are some of chef Guy Martin's creation that will be served onboard Air France:
On 28 November, chef Guy Martin met Air France passengers and invited them to discover his dishes served on board flight AF-662 to Dubai. Accompanied by a Servair chef¸ the two-Michelin-starred Chef invited the company’s Business customers to taste his gourmet and refined dishes.
Chef Guy Martin and Air France hosted a VIP lunch the following day at PierChic; the most romantic restaurant in Dubai. I was very lucky to be invited for this special event.
The restaurant is so stunning surrounded by pristine ocean and have an eye level view with the iconic Burj Al Arab, 7 star hotel and famous Dubai landmark.
Media were given good opportunity to interview Michelin starred chef Guy Martin.
Chef Guy explained all flight attendants serve Premium Class on Air France go through special training in a restaurant to understand more about the Gastronomy.
To keep the moisture of meals, they were all freshly prepared shortly before flight takeoff.
Air France have seriously always outdone itself in the catering department. This is something other airlines can only look up Air France to!
I have the best meal ever onboard Air France earlier from Paris to Tokyo, I literally cried, it was that good!
I was sharing my idea to him about opening more in-flight meal training school around the world 😉
After the interview, we were treated a delicious three course meal by the expert chef of PierChic.
It was a gorgeous afternoon with perfect winter weather in Dubai, I can't think of a better way to wine and dine than what I've done today! I certainly looking forward to the new menu creation onboard my next flight with Air France!
Thank you Air France, the pleasure is all mine!
