Hi guys, I've now flown over 1,500 commercial flights and over 3 million miles so say, on average I've eaten 1 meal per flight that means I've eaten over 1,500 airplane meals in my life. This post shares you some of the BEST and WORST Airplane meals I've ever had!
Welcome Drink
I love Champagne and cocktails as my first drink onboard.

Caviar
I think Caviar should be the standard benchmark for First Class flight. There are still many airlines that serve Caviar on long haul First Class flight such as Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Cathay Pacific, Thai Airways and even Kuwait Airways! Some other choose to serve a bit fancier Caviar with other starters.
Thai Airways now serve authentic Samrab Thai food on long haul Premium Class flights.

Natually I love what Air France Michelin star chef Joel Robuchon create onboard.
The Confit de Canard dish covered with mash potato may look ordinary but the flavour of the duck simply made me cry. The duck was so tender and full of amazing spices!

Qantas serves find contemporary Australian cuisine. I have a wonderful Sea Bass and Grass fed steak in their First Class.
Etihad have some of the best food presentation I've ever seen done by a onboard chef.
Finally, Austrian Airlines have really amazing catering by Do & Co. They also have a fantastic coffee menu!
Dessert
It has to be downright this one, Singapore Airlines served this coconut shell ice cream dessert during the inaugural A380 commercial flight in 2007! It was amazing. Watch the video to see the steam coming out!
African Express cater their meals from a local village restaurant. It contains this unspecified fish with rice.
Biman Bangladesh serves their infamous Chicken Curry with RC Cola year round on Middle East labor flight. I have to admit the aroma around the cabin isn't too bad!
