FARNBOROUGH:  Lessor commits to 80 Airbus jets

Airbus has announced that an undisclosed lessor has committed to 80 A320neo family aircraft.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed during the Farnborough Air Show.

With a list price of $110.6 million for the A320neo, the deal is set to be valued at approximately $8.8 billion.

The lessor is said to be global leading. No announcement has been made as to when they’ll be unveiled.

As usual, engine selection will be made later on.
