You can simply buy as little as 1,000 miles or maximum 50,000 miles for the same cost which makes it amazing! (at €1.25 cents per mile!)
Why I think this is a great deal?
Aegean is a partner of Star Alliance and you can redeem these purchased miles towards any star alliance partners flight network. They have a pretty simple award chart structure as per below (note: below the mile cost is per roundtrip basis, for one way it is half the roundtrip cost)
There are some great value due to the simple definition of region.
For Example
You can fly from Europe to North America in Business Class for just 45,000 miles one way plus tax. (Buy 45k miles at €1.25 cents per mile, total 562.5 euros plus tax)
You can fly from Europe to North America in First Class for just 60,000 miles one way plus tax.
Within Asia it is only 21,000 miles one way plus tax in Business Class. Fly all the way from Beijing to Jakarta (more than 8 hours) for just 21,000 miles in Business Class!

I also quite like the automated search on Aegean which brings up lot of good combinations without having to call in to redeem miles.

Still a good deal to buy? I get to maintain my Gold status via regular Star Alliance travel but want to bump up miles for a Business Class long distance travel with family.

Tried buying now – 22.44 GMT on 24th Nov but the bonus miles options is gone :(.. any idea Sam why?

How are you getting those? When I go to the page there are no cities in the USA to choose.
