The below is a pictorial report of the new lounge of “Casa Alitalia” in boarding area E at Rome Fiumicino airport.
I visited this new lounge after my long flight from Tokyo with Alitalia.

Once entered the lounge, you will find a live cooking area where Italian chef cook pasta and prepare pizza in front of you.

Everyone expect good food in Italy, the new Casa Alitalia Lounge did not disappoint in terms of food. It has authentic Italian pizza and pasta made fresh from the live kitchen.

There is a separate bar area which serve drinks such as Prosecco and fine Italian coffee by Lavazza.

The “Casa Alitalia” lounge is at boarding area “E” of the Rome Fiumicino airport and can be used by Alitalia and SkyTeam passengers traveling to intercontinental and extra Schengen international destinations. Business Class and Elite Alitalia and Skyteam frequent flyers can access the lounge for free. Other passengers with an Alitalia ticket can access the lounge by purchasing a single admission ticket starting from €35.

Hi Sam,
Next to which gate is this longe?
It’s confusing as Alitalia has several longes even in E gates.
Thanks!
Gaby
It is near E11/E12, name of the lounge is CASA ALITALIA PIAZZA DI SPAGNA.
A new lounge for an airline that’s been staggering around financially for years? Gotta hand it to those Italians!
Wow…the food looks great. Is it as good as it looks?
It taste amazing, can’t beat authentic and fresh Italian live cooking!
I see now it’s clear. Cheers
Hi Sam, the video was great but right on the begining the aircraft images was confusing as some A330s scenes were mixed with 777. I even thoght that it was a 330 flight. Cheers
There were 2 Alitalia flights that day. The A330 left for Milan while 777 was to Rome.
