Ben over at One Mile At A Time was the first reporting an amazing deal from Vietnam. You must act fast if you want to get it. The best way to find the deal is to search on ITA Matrix or Google Flights. I suggest booking directly with Cathay Pacific’s website, booking with an OTA like Expedia is fine, but they can be difficult to deal with if there are any changes.
With the deal you can fly roundtrip business class from Da Nang, Vietnam to North America for $674 round trip.
You can also fly from Hanoi to Washington (IAD) from $1100. To find more deals, all you need to do is play around with any departure city in Vietnam to any destination Cathay Pacific flies to in the United States and Canada. This deal is limited to specific city pairs so its kinda like a giant word search.
But that’s not all, as this deal gets much better! You can also fly in FIRST class from $825 with this deal.
Hurry as this deal won’t last! As a reminder Cathay Pacific has one of the world’s best first class products and some of the best lounges.
As Ben noted, it remains to be seen whether or not Cathay Pacific will honor these fares. I would not recommend making any non-refundable plans around these tickets for at least a few days. Airlines have been known to sometimes take weeks to decide on the fate of these fare sale tickets and that just isn’t fair.

We posted this at 6:40 PM EST last night, the fare was available until around midnight. I suggest you check our page more often so you can stay on top of any deals. You are right that it shouldn’t have been included in the automated email that went out today.
Yea it shows up on ita and Google flights, but if you try to book directly with cathay, or orbits, or cheap flights, you get the regular fare option only. Should have been checked out before publishing. Don’t waste your time.
