8 May 2019 – A Biman Bangladesh Airlines Dash-8 Q400 (Reg: S2-AGQ) operating flight BG060 from Dhaka Hazrat Shah Jalal International Airport to Yangon International Airport skidded off the left side of the runway while landing on runway 21 at 06:50PM. The injured are being taken to hospitals but no casualties have been reported yet. The weather was bad with thunderstorms around the area. The airport is currently closed by press time.
