Qatar Airways Experience

As the only 5-star airlines in the middle-east area, Qatar Airways offers an outstanding onboard experience, especially their latest Business class product, Qsuite, which they claim as First in Business.

Qsuite is now offering on selected flights operated by Boeing B777s and Airbus A350s.

Using the Easy Deals to experience Qsuite is a way to maximize the value of Qmiles. Destinations offering Qsuite in this promotion include Bangkok (BKK), Colombo (CMB), Beijing (PEK), Stockholm (ARN), Zurich (ZRH), and between Sao Paulo (GRU) and Buenos Aires (EZE). But be aware that not all flights to these destinations offer Qsuite.

Bottom Line

This promotion is great considering the number of routes it covers and some of the destinations is quite popular. However, historically Qmiles is not so valuable, especially when redeeming Qatar Airways flights, compared with using American Airlines. With an up to 50% fewer miles, Qmiles becomes more valuable but may still not be the best way to redeem Qatar award tickets.

Do you plan to take advantage of this promotion? If so, on which route and how worth is it?

  1. I was happy to see this offer, as Q miles have been loosing value and Europe-Subcontinent flights can be had profitably with AA miles. I also noticed that i had lots of challenges in booking the ticket. KUL DOH QatarPlus one night at Marriott marquis and then on to Barcelona. Every time I tried to book, the mileage requirements varied from 79500 to 242000. I realized that if you access the offer from QR website, one was able to see 79500 offer . KUL to Europe is rather more expensive on other airline miles programmes.
QR without doubt is the best business class and I truly enjoy flying QR. I am hoping to book son YUL DOH BKK for 2000 usd, which is a bargain compared to other airlines plus allows me to maintain my status at QR.

  2. I really like your details of deals, caution notes, and some analysis, Sam. Much better than TPG! Also, I haven’t seen some of these deals from TPG alerts. You are good!!

  3. Yes, offers from Qatar Airways seems good, but please beware of their luggage handlers…. Two of my checked-in baggages on an international flight from USA to India were ripped open and items stolen. And the Qatar Airways staff has been so very ignorant and they bluntly refused to have my bags repaired or replaced. They however courteously apologized for the misbehavior by their staff and expressed grief over the damaged bags… That’s the best they could do.
