Beginning 1st of June, Air Canada is introducing their exclusive JETZ aircraft on select flights between Toronto – Montreal and Toronto – Ottawa.
The aircraft has only 58 seats, as compared to the 120 seats on the mainline A319s; it also features an exclusive and spacious cabin configuration, providing more comfort and less waiting time when boarding and deplaning. Air Canada will be selling these seats as Premium Economy.
According to Air Canada, JETZ flights will be departing from prime gate locations and begin boarding only 25 minutes before departure.

Because of COVID19, AC will sanitize the Jetz Aircraft. People will follow social distancing.
Due to social distancing requirement, it is cheaper for AC to sanitize Jetz aircraft with fewer seats.
