Today a FedEx MD-11F overran a runway upon landing at Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, India.
The aircraft, with registration N583FE and performing flight FX5033 from Bengaluru to Mumbai, landed and overran the end of the runway 14 by about 9 meters.
The good news is that no one was hurt and it appears that the aircraft did not suffer any damage.

At the time of the incident, cyclone Nisarga was in Mumbai. Take off or landings were suspended between 14:30 and 19:00 (local time).

The FedEx plane never ran off the runway. There did go past the taxiway turnoff.
This article makes it seem like the plane went off the runway into dirt or mud which it did not.
