  1. Please, please i know these are give-a-ways but in real-life from real collectors of 1:400 and 1:200 scale models, avoid Gemini Jets & Aeroclassics like the plague! Why? They are rubbish in my view against today standards! NG models and AV400 are FAR superior for quality, packaging and realistic graphics and paintwork for realism for the fairly high prices! I will say Aeroclassics do good DC-10’s, i ‘ll give them that, maybe the odd A330 when its suits them!

Over at the DAC forum there are 2 individuals who are moderators who are involved with Gemini and Aeroclassics. They are ‘utterly Bias’ and promote nothing but ‘their products’ ! Most are awful in my view and not worth you hard worked money! There are much better brands out there! Phoenix are generally good,do some ‘hits and some misses’ .Panda ,excellent A330’s with NG. NG doing amazing Tristars and B787’s , AV400 the best for A350 and now it seems B777-300ER’s! Very impressed better than the once market leaders JCWings for B777’s! JCWings are not bad and better than Gemini jets at everything! Gemini was once a leader ,now a follower asking ridiculously high prices for shoddy workmanship in my view! They all sometimes come with a wheel detached maybe a wing too, though that depends on how the package in the mail was dealt with! All brands this seems to have happened to me but i read a few brands are worse than others.Luckly its minor generally and can be easily fixed with glue or just pinched back on ,like wheels.

Its your choice ,you sometimes have to go to other brands for certain liveries or Aircraft types! At 1:200 scale i can certainly recommend Inflight200 and Jfox even B-models which i read is involved with Inflight or AV200 who do smaller plane types for Inflight i think?

Today , NG models are certainly made a stir in that market place and are really giving the old brands a kicking in sales i gather after what i read and being so popular due to the quality and the ‘guts’ to do liveries that maybe are not so desirable and have ventured far from just doing B757’s A321,A320’s etc with HYJL and now doing B787’s,A330’s but no NEO version yet and their amazing Tristars that make other brands attempts look a joke! AV400 doing mTTT’s ,very detailed and they are the only brand at 1:400 that do jewel warning lights like you get on 1:200 scale models! My choice is always NG for Tristars and A330’s. odd B787’s ,AV400 for A350 and B777, Phoenix for B787’s and others (mix plane types) ,BigBrd for B747’s, Panda A330’s and A340’s and A380 WittyWings/Apollo if you can still find them!

    Regards .

  2. Are you giving away the Gulf Air 787-9 as well??
I’d love to have that model, even though I once saw that plane almost every single day
I lived in Muharraq, very close to the airport and hence saw it regularly
I was so mesmerised by the beauty of this jet, I forgot to take photos of it because I was awestruck when it came in for landomg
Now my parents have shifted because they didn’t like me listening to loud music(the plane’s engines) and they preferred a quieter place.
