Saudia Reveals Two Special 75 Year Anniversary Liveries

Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) is marking the airline’s 75th anniversary by unveiling special liveries on their Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-9 aircraft.

A striking retro 1970-1980 era livery was painted on one of Saudia’s modern B777-300/ER aircraft (registration HZ-AK28). The design utilizes the original Saudia livery, denoting the airline's pride at being a part of the Kingdom's journey and progress.

A special Golden Leadership tail livery on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (registration HZ-ARE) was also revealed in Jeddah. The special livery showcases the faces of three Saudi Royal Family members including: King Abdulaziz Al Saud (the founder of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman

The livery was designed and painted in-house by Saudia Aerospace Engineering Industries (SAEI) utilizing Saudi nationals.

"We are extremely proud to present two distinct special livery across our modern fleet to celebrate the airline’s 75th anniversary. Saudia has been carrying the country’s ambitions, values and traditions across every corner of its network, as it flies the nation's flag around the world.”
