For a limited time, Qatar Airways launched its latest promotion where you can get up to 20% discount on select Business Class fares.
The offer is valid for booking through July 29, 2023, with travel dates between August 1, 2023, through March 31, 2024. You must apply the promo code “JULYOFFER” before searching for the flight.
Once the promo code is applied, you will see the following note at the top of the flight search page.
Save Up To 20% On Select Qatar Airways Business Class Fares
The promotion applies to select booking classes on Business Class below:
- The 20% saving applies to base airfare fare only and does not apply to taxes, surcharges and all other standard market surcharges.
- Business Class Lite fares: P
- Business Class Classic fares: R
- Business Class Comfort fares: I
Unlike the previous promotion, thankfully, the “Lite (P)” fares are included in this promotion and you can use the offer on both one-way or round-trip journeys.
Here are some sample fares with discounts. Based on my research, there appears to be a blackout period where I could not figure out the exact dates of each routing. Moreover, it appears that not all routes are eligible so you may need to do some route and date searches before finding the fares with the promotion applied.
Interestingly, I was able to use the promo code on select First Class fares which in this case, was not mentioned in the terms and conditions.

Earning Qatar Airways Avios
All the discounted fares are eligible to earn Avios both on Qatar Airways Privilege Club or partner programs. For those who are crediting Avios on the Privilege Club account, here is the earning chart:
On partner programs, you will be able to earn between 70% to 225% of miles flown.
Summary
For bookings made through July 29, 2023, and travels by March 31, 2024, Qatar Airways is offering up to 20% discount on select Business Class fares. The offer is in addition to the current “Qverse” promotion and the best part is that the offer can be used on all itineraries subject to fare availability.
What route work with the 20% off that you have in your blog? All example you use in your blog is from Asia to the west country. How about from west country to Asia?

As of now, fares from the west to Asia seems to have heavy blackout dates applied since some Asian countries are at peak travel season. It requires trial and error to find the 20% off from West to Asia.
Also based on Qatar Airways’ T&C, it mentions “Qatar airways reserve the right to add, alter, modify, change or vary all or any of the terms without prior notice.“
It does NOT work. The price are the same with or without the promo code.
Not all route will work.
Very strange. The two flights I looked at were 20% HIGHER using the code. Be careful with this promo!
