Last week, I finally passed my Private Pilot Checkride so I am officially a pilot now!
But I never believed I could become a pilot! I am not a technical person, just the thought of piloting a plane always seemed way beyond me; I had very little confidence in my physical ability to fly a plane plus I was way too content with flying as a backseat passenger.
In this video, I am going to share with you my entire Pilot training journey and how things have changed since I started flying.
There are 3 key phases of flight training in the private pilot:
1. Fundamental of flights and solo flight
2. Cross Country flights
3. Exam Preparation
To obtain your private pilot certificate, you’d need to pass a written exam, an oral exam, and a practical exam. In this video, I am sharing with you my experience on these pilot exams and some useful tips to help you. Further, I discuss the cost of getting a private pilot license, getting a good fit instructor and several key factors to help you throughout the training.
There was an enormous amount of satisfaction gained throughout my pilot journey. Once you make a good landing or break through a mental wall, the confidence will surge and every step you make is one closer to success! If I can do it, you can too!
