What’s Flying Royal Jordanian Like? B787 Chicago to Amman

I tried out Royal Jordanian Airlines B787 Dreamliner from Chicago to Amman, Jordan. We departed just before the winter storm hits Chicago. Once onboard the RJ B787, I was greeted by flight attendant dressed in a traditional costume, showcasing the country’s tradition.

Royal Jordanian B787-8 has 24 business class in 2-2-2 configuration and 246 economy class seats. After takeoff, a fantastic dinner buffet was served in Business Class in front of the guest. I have noticed the airline has restored the pre-pandemic service. There is menu, and even hot towels onboard. A flight attendant told me more about the history of Royal Jordanian and its former name ALIA.

After 10 hours of flying, we landed in Amman, Queen Alia International Airport. I transited Amman and visited the Crown Lounge of Royal Jordanian Airlines. My next flight was onboard the ALIA Retro livery on A321 to Dubai. I gave my verdict of flying Royal Jordanian at the end of the video.
