Airport Security in the United States is nothing more than a theatrical performance. The coordination and orchestration sometimes come together in magnificent fashion where there are no wait times or the show comes crashing down with 30+ minute wait that rivals one of Dante’s circles of hell. Thankfully, the TSA recognized a long time ago that not every passenger needed to be treated to the same and they created TSA PreCheck. Since its inception in 2011 TSA PreCheck has been worth the cost and has been one of the best credit card reimbursements benefits. With TSA PreCheck you don’t need to take off your shoes, remove your liquids under 3 oz, or your laptop.
On Thursday, the Transportation Security Administration announced that three new airlines that are joining the PreCheck program.
