Icelandair Boeing 757 Main Gear Collapse After Landing

7th February 2020; an Icelandair Boeing 757-200 aircraft experienced a right main landing gear collapse, after landing at Keflavik International Airport (KEF) in Iceland.

The registration of the aircraft is TF-FIA and the serial number is 29310. The aircraft was first delivered to Iberia in 2000, then Icelandair in 2007. It is currently at the age of 19.

The flight FI529 was scheduled to fly from Berlin Tegel Airport (TXL).

There were 166 passengers on board the aircraft; so far, no injuries during the accident have been reported.

According to Flightradar24, Keflavik International Airport is currently closed and all flights already departed are returning to their origins.
