Hotel Reservation Changes and Cancellation Policy
All existing reservations (including pre-paid ones) are entitled to free changes or cancellations at least 24 hours prior to any future arrival date.
All new reservations (including pre-paid ones), booked between 8th April and 30th June, are entitled to free changes or cancellations at least 24 hours prior to any arrival date.
Free changes and cancellations must be done by 30th June 2020.
Points Extension
Marriott Bonvoy will be pausing point expiration until February 2021 – by default, points will only expire if an account has been inactive for 2 years.
Status Extension
Members who earned their status in 2019 will receive an expiry extension by 12 months. Instead of expiring in February 2021, the status will expire in February 2022.
For members pursuing lifetime status in Marriott Bonvoy, the extended year will count toward the requirement.
Extension of Suite Night Awards (Under Choice Benefits)
Selected Elite members are entitled to Choice Benefits, when they pass 50 elite nights and 75 elite nights in a calendar year. One of the most popular options under Choice Benefits is the Suite Night Awards.
Members who have Suite Night Awards expiring on 31st December 2020 will receive a one-year extension – they will now expire on 31st December 2021.
Extension of Free Night Awards
Members who have Free Night Awards expiring in 2020 will have their expiry date extended to 31st January 2021. Free Night Awards may be attained from credit cards, annual Choice Benefits, promotions or travel packages.

All new reservations (including those not currently eligible for cancellation) booked between 25th March and 30th June, are entitled to free changes or cancellations at least 24 hours prior to any future arrival date.
Points Extension
Hilton will be pausing point expiration until 31st December 2020 – by default, points will only expire if an account has been inactive for 15 months.
Status Extension
All existing Elite Members, whose status are scheduled to downgrade on 31st March 2020, will receive a status extension through 31st March 2021. However if members managed to attain the status in 2020, the expiry will be extended through 31st March 2022.
Extention of Weekend Night Rewards
All eligible Weekend Night Rewards earned through Hilton credit cards will receive an expiry extension. All unexpired and newly issued (until 30th August 2020) will have their expiry date extended to 31st August 2021.
World of Hyatt (Updated as of 3rd April 2020)

All existing reservations (including advance purchase rates), booked on or before 1st April 2020 for arrival through 30th June 2020, are entitled to free changes or cancellations at least 24 hours prior to arrival.
All new reservations, booked between 2nd April 2020 and 30th June 2020, are entitled to free changes or cancellations at least 24 hours prior to any arrival date.
Points Extension
World of Hyatt will be pausing point expiration until 31st December 2020 – by default, points will only expire if an account has been inactive for 2 years.
Status Extension
All existing Elite Members will receive a status extension through 28th February 2022.
Extension of Earned Rewards
All expiring Free Night, Suite Upgrade and Club lounge access awards will be given an extension. The new expiration date for awards expiring in 2020 will be 31st December 2021.
Awards that expired between 1st March 2020 and 31st March 2020 will be replaced with new awards on 20th April 2020.

Hotel Reservation Changes and Cancellation Policy
All existing reservations, made through 6th April 2020 for stays up to 30th June 2020, can be changed or cancelled.
All new reservations under “Book Now, Pay Later”, can be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to the stay.
For new and existing domestic bookings in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, cancellations fees will be waived for stays up to 30th April 2020.
Points Extension
Members with points due to expire from 1st April 2020 onward will receive an expiry extension to 31st December 2020 – by default, points will only expire if an account has been inactive for 1 year.
Status Extension and Criteria Reduction
IHG will be reducing Elite membership criteria required (nights or points) this year by 25% or more:
However if the registered address is in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan, the elite status will be extended until 31st December 2021.
