Lufthansa to Re-Open First Class Lounge at Frankfurt

Starting from 1st June, in a response to rising booking figures, Lufthansa is reopening the Lufthansa First Class Lounge in Terminal 1 of Frankfurt Airport.

Take Away Food and Beverage

The First Class Lounge in Terminal 1 is open daily from 06:00 to 21:30. 

Food and beverage consumption is only permitted outside of the lounge. A take-away offer is available in the First Class Lounge.

Lufthansa mentioned that the popular "á la carte" service will also be resuming as soon as official regulations allow them to do so. 

Re-Opening First Class Terminal

A Lufthansa press release mentioned that their First Class Terminal, and the associated limousine service, will also be made available again, but no firm date has been given by Lufthansa.

My visit of Senator Lounge

I travelled on Lufthansa in July 2020 and used the Senator Lounge, as the First Class Lounge was closed during transit in Frankfurt. The lounge did serve a selection of food and drinks, include sandwiches, chicken schnitzel and soup. The shower facility was also open. You can find details in the trip report below:
