SeatSpy is limited to only 6 airlines?
They need to expand to more airlines like expertflyer to make the jump worthwhile.
Having said that – love the colour coded calender view by cabin.
It seems like a good tool. The market does seem rather limited though. I’d imagine that a lot of prospective members are already using ExpertFlyer or JuicyMiles, so paying more money for a tool that has a very limited set of airlines seems a little iffy. Assuming that SeatSpy is genuinely trying to gain market share in the field, perhaps they would do the equivalent of a status match for existing ExpertFlyer members. Kind of Captain Obvious here but that would allow SeatSpy to show that they’re competitive or better than the others. Kind of a test drive.

If they would only do the same but for Upgrade awards…until then, I’ll stick with Expertflyer.
Signed up for their premium service and spent about an hour on it last night. The inventory it shows does not match up with actual availability. I reach out to them pointing out certain instances where their site fails. Nonetheless, the concept is good should they fix these issues it will be very useful
Okay, so you can’t search for future availability? There’s AA 194 from PHX-LHR this summer.
Also, it doesn’t work for regionals of AA, for example Envoy air (DFW-SRQ), even though that pair is flying atm.

When I did a search from PHX, LHR was missing (AA). Is this because you have to have a paid subscription to see all destinations?
I quickly asked them about this, they said that they’re only showing direct pair flying at the moment and there is no PHX LHR service atm.

Seatspy returned only Business Everyday Awards when I gave it a try yesterday by searching for business class space on UA’s SFO-SIN nonstop. The header of the search result said Mile Saver Fares but the search clearly didn’t correspond correctly to UA’s saver award rates. A quick look at UA’s site confirmed that the space shown was for Business Everyday Award, not Saver Award.
I have the screenshot should you want to see. Showing non Saver award just isn’t useful for a paid service, IMHO.
