During Dubai Airshow, I tour the A350 Airspace Explorer testbed aircraft. The specially configured A350-900 MSN002 is fitted with the new Airspace cabin. Airspace Explorer is Airbus’ new dedicated flight test platform for demonstrating new cabin technologies which could be featured in future aircraft cabins.
During my tour, I saw several innovative approaches about “smart seat”, bacterial removing surface, Electro-dimmable windows, interactive connected galley, ultra-thin screen display, and an impressive LED cabin wall projection display.
