Cathay Pacific The Pier New First Class Lounge

Review: Cathay Pacific The Pier New First Class Lounge

Cathay Pacific The Pier New First Class Lounge

Cathay Pacific The Pier New First Class Lounge

Cathay Pacific has two first class lounges at their Hong Kong hub, and I was very excited to visit The Pier.

I’m pleased to say that this lounge is even better than their other facility, The Wing, although it is further away.

The lounge is located near gate 63 opened in June 2015 after extensive renovation.

The lounge is open to all one world First Class ticket holder, top tier Marco Polo club members and one world Emerald status frequent flyer.

It has a hotel lobby feel instead being an airline lounge.

Conclusion

The Pier, where every considered detail evokes a feeling of care and tranquility. It is certainly a destination and highlight of its own kind!

It was a huge pleasure to visit this lounge and definitely one of the best First Class lounge in the world.

It gives a feel of being at a top end boutique hotel while the privacy is done just right!

  1. not a fan of the pier
Couple of visits and massage wait was more than 4 hours each time. Relaxation ‘rooms’ are quite filthy and hard to relax with all the outside noise (planes and buses). Will admit that I didn’t have an opportunity to take a shower but prefer the Wing’s cabana’s anyday.
