Cathay Pacific Tokyo Haneda Lounge
Cathay Pacific has opened a brand-new lounge experience for passengers travelling out of Tokyo Haneda since December 2014.
Located on Level 6 near Gate 114, the lounge is the first to be operated by a non-Japanese carrier in the Tokyo Haneda Airport.
I have the pleasure to visit this lounge on my recent Cathay B747-400 flight out of Haneda in the morning.
The usual Cathay Lounge access rule apply to this lounge.
The feeling of entering the lounge is of a domestic space, more like a living room than an airline lounge. Natural sunlight filters through the windows on three sides. Designer furniture and lighting have been carefully selected for their practicality and comfort.
The lounge has 3 sections, the kitchen, the stand up bar and a vast seating area.
A full attended bar behind the seating area.
2 special Haneda Drinks on offer.
Here is my Haneda Jade, cheers!
Next to the seating area is the stand up bar.
There is a food station in the middle serving snacks such as smoke salmon, smoke fish, cheese and various salad and cold cuts.
There are individual "pod" behind the stand up bar which looks out to the apron.
Next is the Cathay Pacific Famous Noodle Bar in the kitchen and dining area.
Serving CX Signature Dan Dan Noodles and Wonton Noodle Soup plus Japanese breakfast items.
My favourite seat is those individual LA-Z-BOY leather chair with foot stool that looks out to the tarmac.
The lounge is located at the highest floor of the terminal and boost a panorama view of the apron which is amazing for plane spotting.
The new lounge in Haneda airport is designed above all to reflect the Cathay Pacific brand experience and to offer passengers both relaxation and enjoyment. It has a "home" touch with luxury furnishing and a calm surrounding. It provides an amazing lounge experience before my flight.
