Airbus outlines 2018 China Airshow presence

Airbus has outlined their presence at the 2018 China Airshow, which will commence on the 6th of November up until the 11th at the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition in Zhuhai.

A series of products that reflect on Airbus’ innovation will be present at the show, with the primary goal being to display the needs of today and the future, specifically in the commercial, defence and space sectors.

Large models of the A350-1000 and A330neo will be on display to the public for viewers to check out the latest advancements in Airbus’ widebody lineup. Cabin features that particularly focus on innovation, as well as the advanced side of things related to the aircraft itself are all going to be on display within these models. After static display at the show, AirBaltic/Airbus will fly their A220-300 tour aircraft out of Chendu on the 8th of November to continue its world tour.

The latest helicopters will be shown off in mock-up form at the Airbus stand, and will include the H130, H160 and the H175, all demonstrating different markets within the Helicopter sector of the aviation industry.

During the show, various press conferences will be held by Airbus and partnering companies, outlining the latest business cases and market information. The key conference will be held in Room 220, 2nd floor of the Press Center. Top executives will be present and some exciting announcements have said to be made during the conferences at 12:40pm on the 6th of November.

Other displays at the show will include Airbus customers showing off their equipment fitted out to their standards, both in static and flying display. The Guangzhou Police will be displaying their H145 – the first one in mainland China – in public service configuration.

As a whole, the entire Airbus stand will be located in the Main Hall of the complex at Booth H4CA. Any announcements that are made during the show will be covered on this blog.

Anyone that is attending the show can also expect to see announcements and displays from other companies within the aviation industry as well as shows from local air forces.
