Taiwan’s new full-service carrier STARLUX Airlines, a direct competitor of China Airlines and EVA Air, will be launching a daily flight between Taipei and Cebu, coming 6th April.
Background
Starlux Airlines is founded by the former CEO of EVA Air, who started this airline after he was ousted from his role. Currently, Starlux Airlines have 10 A321neos on order and 17 A350s on order. The first delivery of their A350s will begin in 2021.

Operating Routes:
Flights to Macau, Da Nang and Penang will begin on 23rd January, operated by 3 A321neos. Tickets for all announced destinations, including Cebu, are on sale. A round-trip flight between TPE-CEB was (is) priced around $600 in Business Class – one-third cheaper than Eva Air and China Airlines.
