I flew on Turkish Airlines new A350 from Montreal to Istanbul. I went behind the scenes on flight operations from the cockpit and in the cabin as a passenger to experience the brand-new aircraft. The mask is no longer mandatory on Turkish Airlines unless the destination requires it. Welcome drink, and full meal service have been returned now onboard.
The Turkish Airlines A350 Business Class cabin has an understated luxury silver/grey decor with all aisle access. Window seats are even number 2/4/6/8. While the privacy is excellent, I found the seat to be quite narrow for myself. In Economy, the Turkish Airlines A350 feature standard 3-3-3 configuration with seat 28A and 28K have extra leg room with no seat in front.
I continued my connection to Izmir from Istanbul. The 50 minutes domestic flight in Turkey really impressed me with a full meal served. I traveled by car to Pamukkale to see the famous pools of Pamukkale. It was my first time in a hot balloon and what an experience!
